Near cape Bay. from the center of Cape May, New Jersey, take Lafayette Avenue to West Perry Street, which turns into Sunset Boulevard; continue for about 3 miles. Sunset Boulevard ends at Sunset Beach. Well travel to the end of the parkway and cross the canal into cape may. Follow the main street to the end and make a right, find sunset ave or sunset beach blvd, i can't remember which and follow it to the end. There should be a big, sunken concrete ship in the water, you can't miss it.

Información adicional
This is obvioulsy a novelty wave but if you ride it you can proudly say "I surfed New Jersey's West Coast". It's amazing the delaware bay is big enough to actually provide a fetch when the west winds are howling. So if you wanna surf freezing cold 3ft chop when the ocean is flat in january just come here when there's a hard west wind (over 20kts). I've heard that on big south swells or hurricane swells that swell gets back in here and provides some fun lefts even as far north as the ferry but I've personally never witnessed that. I surfed it last year in my six mil on a fish and yes it was actually rideable BUT extremely unpleasant conditions. Also watch out for old pilings and rebar on the bottom especially near the ship! Oh, and if the tide is going out be careful not to get sucked too far east, the combination of a hard west wind and outgoing tide could literally suck you out sea.

Ambiente
There isn't much more to say, I've never seen anyone else that remotely resembles a surfer in the area even though the ocean side is obviously well surfed.

General
Remember the best conditions coincide with 39 degree air, 35 degree water, and a 30kt west wind in your face, maybe that's why i've never seen anyone else there?
