Lots of large boulders underwater. Check the whole deal out carefully before going in. Depending on the wind and tide the current can put you where you don't want to be. Be alert to where you are.
Wave is mushy even when it's bigger, more suitable for longboarding There are better spots nearby. Because it sucks it's usually empty. It can be better than Fenway (which may be closing out) on a SE swell that's big enough. Worth the drive-by if you're good enough to go out there.

Panic Rules and you Suk - Thats Right boys and girls, I see a lot of whining on this site about the spots, the fact is all you dumb MF's have a big opinion and no real insite on the spots, maybe you should all stay at Powder Ridge and shed over there. RI locals rule biaitch

This is a great wave - Anyone who says this wave sucks is just plain retarded. If you know how to surf the break (most people don't) is a great left that braks for a long time and the shacks are nice. I was shown the ropes by a guy on a longboard over 15 years ago and have enjoyed this wave many times since. As for the kooks in the water, don't mind them if you know what your doing you can be on the face before they even start paddling for the wave.
