- Rocas
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Metered parking, free in winter, right at the wall, steps down every few blocks or so. The Wall is normally larger than anywhere else. Easy to access so it's more crowded, too, but the vibe is mellow, lots of beginners, scattered peaks. At size it's a pretty demanding paddle out, just wave after wave, and closes out a lot. But when it's big, you'll be out there alone or with only a few.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Check the Surfline picture of Hampton, classic wave, it really can get epic, but it's rare. The guys who surf here are cool, hardcore cold water nutcases. Did I mention cold water? I wear booties even in the summer because the walk back over the rocks after a sess can be painful with numb feet.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Fun place, if you get lucky and catch it good, enjoy it while it lasts. Visit Dave at Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Shop at the north end of the Wall. He rents boards and kayaks and has a great shop and is a cool guy.

Clean Wave - I surfed the wall in mid September. It was a very clean wave and the waves never stop Coming!! It's wicked cold though!

The Wall - I used to live in NE and surf the Wall on a fairly regular basis. It’s a typical beach break and probably one of the most consistent spots in NE. It’s usually bigger than most neighboring spots. During the summer moths, it’s usually a fairly unimpressive break which gets insanely crowded. Still, it’s usually better than anyplace else around. Staring in late summer/early fall, this spot can go off … picks up nice hurricane swells and offshore breezes. The crowds thin out when it starts getting a little size and the water temps dip. It gets some really good days during the winter (I’m a wuss and switch over to snowboarding at that point ;-) When there’s some size, watch out for a pounding shore break that will freek’n work you over if you get caught inside. Also, on bigger days there can be some pretty strong rips … it also starts to close out when it starts getting really big (double overhead+). This is probably your best bet when the point breaks aren’t working or are overcrowded … stay here if you’re a beginner.

the wall - the wall is a good beach break wave, i.e its consistant (for NE), lots of peaks, generally bigger and better than most spots. that being the case its crowded, really crowded, and the locals are getting sick of the general obliviousness and rude behavior exhibited by many of the new comers. mind your manners and you'll have a good time, but if you think your gonna catch all the best sets i would strongly recomend going somewhere else especially if its crowded. if you are not a strong surfer, or a strong swimmer, there are many other biginner friendly waves in the area, look around
