English (Traducir este texto en Español): if its big, use the rip on the north side...just past the russian kids, along the rocks. Sheltered spot from the NW wind. Very popular on Summer.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): "lets go surfin' now...everybodys learnin how....c'mon to ecoli with me..."<br />few good surfers in water, lots of beginers, can be a bad paddle out if its sloppy....best on small summer days...longboard only on small days. This is a beautiful spot. Closed in by the rocks on each side making it feel like it is secluded from the world around. Sloppy waves but if it is sunny and your with friends it is a great place to be for the day. (Great for the whole family too, since it is close to the car and not far from the actual beach).

- I catch this place 15-20 times a year, mostly during the summer. Only one time have I ever seen it as good as some other the other more reliable breaks. I'm not trying to dissuade people from going here, by all means continue to surf here, but there are many other better spots nearby. At least while you are there, get a yearly pass to help support the parks department.

weird people - "just drive 15 minutes south and surf Seaside Point,"? Actually, this place sucks 2, Seaside point would be about 15 mins north of there. And Indian gets good, real good. Just like most Oregon spots, you gotta be there at the right time and know whats up as far as swell direction and wind.

Buy a pass! - Popular beach but it's very fickle. More slop days than not in my experience but it's never my first destination on the north coast of Oregon.
Lots of regulars here, never got a bad vibe but they will paddle over you to get to the waves.
The wave is kind of mushy in my book, so it's a good place for beginners to get used to bigger days.
Help the parks system, buy a yearly pass and check it out regularly. You'll get lucky and catch an epic day there.
Oh, and you beginners. Stay away from the channel on the north end on bigger swells or you'll find yourself in trouble.
