This is a semi popular wave for those days that the groins is flat at high tide and so is the cove and the jetty is out of control. Head south to wash away beach in north cove. Take a right on the old high road and source it out to the beach. The road ends in a cliff and is eroding away at 100 feet a year, so hurry up- it will all be gone soon! - or you can drive in on the beach...

 Información adicional

This spot isn't all that great but can get good and fun on a big northwest with little or no wind- can be hollow and fast. It's sort of a semi point sandbar set up at that time - be careful of the big stump, the big pole, and other crap on the bottom. Better at low-rising tide. Be very careful here, as there is an insane rip just outside the breaker line at ebb tide- due to willapa bay draining out. Sit at the indicator bend in the point and wait for the bigger cleaner set waves that break with continuity all the way through, rather than the smaller sectiony ones. Can get somewhat long rides here when its good.

- i feel bad for the people who have lived and are living at this beach. Just a few days i ago i visted this beach, it was the first time in about 2 years. I was shocked to see how much was gone. The grey house on the end of the road is in big trouble. Its garage is just from the eroding bank. The bottom of the bank looked as though a tsunami swept through.

- wow, so much drama for a place I've checked hundereds of times and saw good only once.

Take it easy there, Sluggers! - I recently moved to Seattle from a small town in n. Cal. As the recent messages show, there are some major kooks from in and around this city. I am sorry for their rude comments and ask the regulars to take it easy on the rest of us who respect their space. Its important to remember that once in a while its nice to surf somewhere that your not from and have a good day of surfing with no drama. Everybody should be cool and make the water a nice place to be. There are a lot of stresses in peoples lives and surfing should help with them, not add to them. See you out there. E
