just moved - moved from cali to atl and wondered besides hurricane swell what is the best time for waves such as ground swells or south carolina?

It's true... - this place sucks, your board will collect dust in your garage if you liver here. Oh yeah, Folly fires, about once a year, but the people love the surf culture, they wear the clothes, lots of stickers on their cars, it's a total joke.

Best season - september is probably the best time as generally at least one storm then provides solid surf for sometimes days on end. Fall. Spring, and Winter can have surf occasionally due to noreasters and low pressure systems. Summer is miserablely flat unless there is a storm in the water. Check out NOAAs wave watch III model regularly, theres actually gonna be some decent sized waves forecasted tuesday
