English (Traducir este texto en Español): Between Boiçucanga and Maresias. There is a track close after Boiçucanga, up and down the mountain, for trekking or motorcycle only. It's a hard but groovy walk, among the "Mata Atlântica" environment.
Or you can take a 15' boat trip at Boiçucanga beach. Ask to the fishermen.
Both ways are worthy, the environment is groovy. The track can be exhausting, specially coming back, but the boat will leave and take you at the outside, never at the sand. English (Traducir este texto en Español): Very fast, hollow waves, breaking at shallow sand-bars, very close to the beach. When it gets big 5" to 8" feet,we must take care, very ,very shallow wave with big an broad barrels.A small wipe out can brake your board easy.i´m sure it will make you painfull, and sore body.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): The beach is still wild, there are no buildings. There is a small waterfall hidden at the right corner.
Be careful on surfing and enjoy!

braaavaa - Spectacular spot ! 45 minute walk from principal rode, very nice to do,,, very strong waves at winter, really enjoyable,,in big days do not take the risk of going in if youre not sure of yourself, its only a beach, theres nothing else,,, i truly recommend it !

Its called Brava because...... - Praia Brava is an awesome wave - and a spectacular beach, the trail is beautiful, and you find yourself running down the hill at the first sight of the perfect lines peeling below - its a serious wave and you need to be careful, you are far away from the hospital if something happens - also keep an eye on you things - it is known for being a great place to get robbed! keep your bags close to you and in sight at all time, and keep you things away fromt the tree line -
