Find the big road sign "Punta Rocas" at km46 south of Lima (on the old Panamerican Highway)... the top track takes you to the point overlooking the spot, the lower track takes you into the beach-front parking. Paying in summer - good idea to pay a 'vigilante' at anytime of year... Paddle in from either side of the point : most frequently used is from the south side. Care here as there are often a lot of fishing lines - sometimes 'fixed' and hard to see. Also has a respectable shorebreak to get through on bigger days. A really good quality wave, which can hold decent size, throwing both left and right of the rocky reef.
When the swell is small watch out for some of the less-than-submerged rocks.
